Social Media What do you think about social media? Should kids our age be on social media? If you have a social media account, if so what about it is so intriguing?
I think kids our age should have social media but the should be aware of cyber bullys and be safe.I have a Snapchat and I like to use it because I can stay in touch with my friends and all the cool filters.
I also agree with that, its okay having social media and want to talk to friends and all, but like what other people are saying, they should be check by an adult or parent.
Yeah! On facebook there's a huge range of age in the users and you don't want some random adult to follow you. I think it's a great way to communicate with friends!
I think social media is ok (for our age) if you have private account, and only let people who you know "follow" you. I have a social media account which I like because I enjoy posting pictures, because I love photography!
I only have 1 social media account, and that is a private instagram account. I think that if kids our age have social media accounts, then they should be very careful, make their account private if that is an option, and only accept follow requests from people they know. What I find intriguing about it is that I can share pictures and messages with my cousins and friends. You can also create group message boxes where you can basically text your friends, which I find really cool since I can't text my cousins since they have a phone that isn't an iPhone and I don't have data.
I think kids should be on social media. It helps them connect to the world. It also entertains them, just try to imagine not being allowed to use YouTube. I am intrigued because a lot of people I watch on YouTube are on Twitter, and there is some funny stuff on social media. That's why I think kids should have social media and why it's intriguing.
For the second question I think kids our age should not have a social Medea account because there are a lot of inappropriate things on social medea. Even though I do not have one (and I don't want one) that still doesn't mean that I don't know about it.
I agree that there are a lot of inappropriate things on social media, and if you have a private account and only people you know follow you, you most likely won't see inappropriate posts unless your friends post them or unless you search inappropriate things.
I don't have a social media account. To me, I think that some social media is a nice way to communicate with friends, but sometimes it can get out of hand. For lots of sites there is a private setting so that only your friends can see your account. I think that that's a better way to set up your account for kids my age.

I think that cyberbullying is a problem too. And public social media accounts shouldn't really be offered to our age group. But I think that private accounts could be aloud to people in our age group.
I believe kids are age should not fake there age on some social media apps they should look at the rules on the age limit to see if they can be qualified for there age. For the second question I think it a good way to talk to friends.
I think the intriguing thing is that you are wondering if like, you just posted something and you wanted to know if someone liked it or not. And like you are wondering what other people are talking about and talking to friends.
i think that kids our age can be on it bu a parent or responsible adult should check it regularly.
